Fraserburgh’s nickname is the Broch and I love it. Today for P-Day we saw a whole bunch of castles! It was super fun. This week has been great! We did a lot of finding. I am trying to incorporate Scottish lingo and get rid of my American words like “sweet” and “awesome”. Haha We had a powerhouse lesson with Stewart of Thursday about the Plan of Salvation. A member named Sister Preston came and was a big help! Stewart said that the Plan of Salvation answered a lot of questions he had. I am excited for the future! We are seeing him again tonight. We also started teaching a former investigator named Toni. She first met sister missionaries 20 years ago in England! She is happy for us to come around once a week to start teaching her again.
Yesterday was British Mother’s Day, or as I like to call it, Mum’s Day! So Happy Mum’s Day Mum! I love my mother. She has made me who I am today. Thank you for everything you have taught me. I know I wouldn’t be back here in Scotland if it weren’t for you. I feel a lot like the 2000 Stripling Warriors in Alma 56:47 Now they never had fought, yet they did not fear death; and they did think more upon the liberty of their fathers than they did upon their lives; yea, they had been taught by their mothers, that if they did not doubt, God would deliver them. Thank you for always supporting me Mom and teaching me that God will deliver me.
Have a great week everyone!
Scottish Word of the Week: Oxter = Armpit
