Baptism in Cork

May 23, 2016
Hello everybody!

This week was great! I had the opportunity to help the other elders here in Cork with their investigator Conor! He was able to enter the waters of baptism on Saturday. He asked me to speak about baptism in the service and it went great! The Spirit was so strong. Our investigator Gabriela came to the baptism and to church and she really enjoyed it! She is showing a lot of interest and commitment so I am looking forward to see what will happen 🙂 Besides that, not much happened this week!

I began reading The Infinite Atonement by Tad R. Callister this week and I have began to recognize just how important the atonement is. The more we understand it, the more we understand the meaning of life, love, sacrifice, obedience, faith, repentance, resurrection, submissiveness, charity, and countless other principles and attributes. Study the atonement and it will change your life!

I love you all and have a great week!

Cork Blitz!

May 16, 2016

Hiya everyone!

So on Tuesday we went to Dublin for an All-Ireland Zone Conference and it was awesome. I learned so much 🙂 Then on Wednesday (back in Cork) the assistants, the zone leaders, and sister training leaders were all in our city! We had 12 missionaries for a day instead of 6 🙂 I was with Elder Haller who is an assistant. We had a great day of finding and teaching. We set up 20 appointments in just a few short hours. Lots of great work happened this week. We taught a lot of new people as well. Sean hasn’t answered his phone for almost 2 weeks 😦 but besides that, we had loads of success. Taught almost the same number of lessons in the past 3 weeks, in just this week. I am loving it here 🙂
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. I know that if we love God, everything will be alright in the end! Good things will happen if we love God and SHOW Him that we love Him. I love God and all of you! Have a great week!

Happy Mother’s Day

May 9, 2016

And happy birthday to me hahaha! Finally 19 🙂 Hello! How are you all?

This week was really fun! We taught Hannes again! At the church this time, so no drunk people could rudely interrupt us. He is doing good. Sean didn’t come to church for some reason :(((( We haven’t been able to get in contact with him yet to ask him why. We played soccer in the rain on Saturday which was a blast, and I got to Skype the family yesterday! Well, technically it was a Google Hangout because everyone is all over america, but it was amazing. It’s really good to know that everyone is safe and sound back home.
I just wanted to thank my mother for everything she has done for me. It really takes a mission to truly appreciate everything that mothers do. I miss home cooked meals, support from gym bleachers and theater seats, and family home evenings. My mom is one of the greatest examples in my life of diligence, hard work, love, and sacrifice. I love you Mom!
Have a great week everyone 🙂

Baptism Date!

May 2, 2016

Hello my friends!

Sean has a baptismal date! He will be baptized on the 28th of May! He is coming to church every week for May 🙂 We talked about him starting a dependent branch in Skibereen 🙂 We are going to baptize all his friends so they can have church down in Skib 🙂 We also taught a German man named Hannes in a park when 2 drunk guys interrupted our lesson and wouldn’t leave. So that stunk. Hannes wants to meet again on Friday so that’s good 🙂 This coming week looks great!

1 Peter 1:7 “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ” I love this scripture! Trials are more precious than gold, so keep that in mind 🙂 I love you all and hope you have a great week!
