Deutsche Begleiter! (German Companion)

April 18, 2016
Hello everyone!

This week, I got a new companion! His name is Elder Hoppe. He is from Germany, is 23, was in the Army before his mission, and is an amazing cook! He is a very hard working missionary and we had tons of success this week!

We taught Sean a lot this week and he is awesome! He is moving out of his girlfriend’s house so that he can be baptized 🙂 He can come to church in May so he will be baptized sometime during the week of the 23rd! Pray for him! He owns his own business and is experiencing some difficulty with it 😦 Martyna also has a baptismal date for the 22nd of May! She is doing great too! We found a lot of good people this week and taught a few of them 🙂

I have no time, but I would like to recommend a book called “The Power of Everyday Missionaries: The What and How of Sharing the Gospel” by Clayton M. Christensen. It is amazing! It is in our missionary library in my mission and it has really helped me in my work. It can really help members know how to do missionary work and be comfortable with it.

I love you all!
