First things first, Fred didn’t get baptized 😦 He felt like he wasn’t ready and we didn’t want to push him. He was sad to leave and promised to keep learning about the gospel.
Miracle story! I am not sure if you remember Anne. We taught her about the Restoration over a month ago and she was GOLDEN. She felt the Spirit during the lesson and committed to be baptized. After that, her phone went to voicemail whenever we tried to call her. We thought she blocked us. We fasted that Sunday to get back in contact with her. We prayed during the past month to get back in contact with her. We thought she was gone, but on Tuesday everything changed! We were Street Boarding and who walked up to us? Anne! She lost her phone the day after we first taught her. She has been reading the Book of Mormon and is developing a testimony of it. She prays about it all the time and constantly feels the Spirit when she reads. She still doesn’t have a phone, but she gave us her email and we met with her on Friday. She has a baptismal date for the 30th of April. She is so excited. I know that the Lord is with us in this work and that it was no coincidence that she bumped into us.
I had the great privilege to give a 20 minute talk on the Resurrection yesterday. I found an amazing quote by Joseph Smith! “The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimony of the Apostles and Prophets, concerning Jesus Christ, that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day, and ascended into heaven and all other things which pertain to our religion are only appendages to it.” We all need to increase our testimonies about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I know that He lives and the resurrection is a fact. I love you all!
