No More 6 Man Flat

February 29, 2016
Hello! Elder Walters went home this week and Elder Brockmann finished his mini mission this week, so our appartment is down to 4 missionaries! This transfer was really short (4 weeks) and Elder van Staden and I are staying in Cork! Elder Christensen will be with Elder Van Buyton! He is in my MTC group if you remember from when I was in Scotland. I am excited for this new transfer and the work that will be done!

This week was a good one! We met a 19 year old Polish girl on the street named Martyna and we met with her on Tuesday! She is a Christian and loves to learn. We taught her twice and she has accepted baptism. She works on Sundays so pray for her! Frederic is also doing well. We had an amazing lesson with him and he is praying about baptism. He feels unprepared, but he knows everything!

Here is one of my favorite scriptures on repentance. Doctrine and Covenants 19:16-17For behold, I, have suffered these things for all, that theymight not suffereven as I” Repentance is forming a fresh view on God, yourself, and the world. We can have feelings of guilt and shame that come with sin removed through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus did and does live and that we can each develop a personal relationship with Him as long as we take a step of faith.

As we say in the Scotland/Ireland Mission, “Till the Work is Done”
